The 13.1 mile (21.1 kilometers) course began in Prospect Park, ran down Ocean Parkway, and finished on the Coney Island Boardwalk. Over 25,000 runners took the streets of Brooklyn last Saturday morning to participate in the Brooklyn Half Marathon. This year's attendance was the highest in the event's history.
