Pave

The stones are placed side by side in small openings on a flat surface. The diamonds are secured by raised overlapping gem spurs and are finished by creating beads. Pavé – term comes from the French for paved or cobble-stoned. This technique is used when many stones are set very closely together to cover a larger surface – often used on decorative necklaces, bracelets or earrings.
