3D CNC Mill

3D CNC Mill can produce wax models that cast easily and require little to no post-production work because of the high quality of the surface.
These cutting edge devices are able to reach nearly every angle of a model, allowing to produce detailed wax forms without any manual intervention. For example, a full ring with multiple prongs and inside band engraving can be cut out in one go on such a mill. Because the setup work is done upfront, it is common for 5-axes mill operators to set up jobs to run unattended (e.g. overnight) and come back to a fully finished piece.

CNC Turning

CNC turning produces parts by “turning” rod material and feeding a cutting tool into the turning material. On a lathe the material to be cut rotates while a cutter is fed into the rotating workpiece. The cutter can be fed at a variety of angles and many tool shapes can be used.
Advantages
CNC turning provides an economical way to make parts that are commonly symmetrical about an axis of revolution.
Shapes
Shapes that can be made include a variety of plain, taper, contour, fillet and radius profiles plus threaded surfaces. Although many turned parts use a single axis of revolution, there can be multiple axiis to allow more flexibility (e.g. camshafts). This method of machining can be combined with CNC milling and other processes to make more diverse shapes.
